Straight questions, direct answers

What is Athar?

The basic definition and scope.

What is Athar?

Athar is a cloud management system for special needs centers and for rehabilitation, therapy and early intervention centers. It brings beneficiary records, therapy plans, sessions, appointments, attendance, reports, payments, branches and parent communication into one platform.

How is Athar different from school management software?

School software is built around terms, grades and daily attendance. Athar is built around therapy: a plan per beneficiary with goals, a record of every session documenting what was done, progress tracked over months, and communication with families that a school could not easily accommodate. For classroom management, Athar is the wrong tool.

How is Athar different from hospital systems?

Hospital systems are built for the patient, admission, billing and medical diagnosis. Athar is built for a beneficiary on a long therapy journey with a therapy team and goals. Athar does not enter medical diagnosis and does not replace the medical record — it is an administration and therapy follow-up tool.

Is it only for children with disabilities?

No. Athar suits every group a rehabilitation center serves: children, teenagers, adults and older people. The way of working is the same, and the goals and reports adapt to the group.

Getting started and trials

How to begin, and how long it takes.

How do I start?

Start a free trial with no credit card. You create your center account, add beneficiaries and specialists (even with sample data), schedule a first session and export a first report. Then you decide whether Athar fits.

How long does setup take?

A single day to set up a new center. The only longer task is entering a large number of beneficiary records, and we help with that through bulk import. Start with one branch if that is easier.

Do I need real data to try the system?

No. You can trial with sample data. If you do enter real data, it remains your responsibility, and we will not use it to trial the system for someone else.

Data and security

Privacy of beneficiary records.

How is beneficiary data protected?

Four binding principles: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based permissions so nobody sees a record they do not need, an audit log on every change, and backups with restoration. You can also export your data whenever you want.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Your data is yours and is handed over in clear formats on request, or if you decide to leave. This is a written commitment on the security page, not a secondary feature.

Is Athar compliant with government systems?

We do not claim a compliance we have not verified. If your regulatory system requires a specific export format, tell us during the trial and we will verify the actual requirements together before you commit.

Pricing and payment

How the subscription works.

How much does Athar cost?

It depends on the number of beneficiaries, specialists and branches, and the modules you need. We do not publish one price for everybody. Start with a free trial, then we set an offer that fits your center with no hidden fees.

Monthly or annual payment?

Both are available. We settle it in the offer and choose whatever suits your cash flow. We do not lock you into a long term before you have tried the system and trust how it works.

Do I pay if the trial does not work out?

No. The trial is free with no credit card. If Athar is not right for you, you pay nothing and we do not hold your data to keep you.

Team and support

Who helps you after you start.

What does support include?

Technical support in Arabic through working-hour channels, team training at the start, and written guidance material. On the Growing Center plan and above, you also get an account manager and priority support.

Do you train the team?

Yes. Training is part of setup and includes the specific staff member who will be entering the data. Because the person entering data is the one who keeps the system clean, we make sure they are confident rather than passing through.
