Our mission
To give every rehabilitation center, its owners and its specialists one system that preserves each beneficiary’s record and makes every session leave a clear trace — without adding complexity to the working day.
We built Athar after watching rehabilitation centers work hard and get managed by tools that were not built for them. We wanted a system made for this sector, not generic business software.
The idea started with a simple observation: a rehabilitation center runs with a rigorous clinical method, then loses that rigor at the edge of the file. The specialist knows exactly what they are doing and the plan is clear, but the moment someone says “the beneficiary missed today” or “which day was that session again?” precision turns into hesitation.
The available tools were either hospital systems that do not understand the phrase “therapy plan”, or business software that does not understand that “the customer” here is a person on a journey of months rather than someone paying an invoice. The result: still notebooks and spreadsheets, and nothing that fit.
Athar exists to fill exactly that gap: a system built from inside how rehabilitation centers work, by people who know the difference between a therapy plan and a session note, between attendance and progress. Every product decision starts from one question: what real problem in a center does this solve?
Today, Athar is in applied use with real centers, and we are learning from them. That is reason enough to stay honest about what we promise.
Rehabilitation centers treat with clinical rigor and run on tools that were never designed for them. The result is a gap between high clinical quality and fragmented administrative quality.
To give every rehabilitation center, its owners and its specialists one system that preserves each beneficiary’s record and makes every session leave a clear trace — without adding complexity to the working day.
That documenting every beneficiary’s journey becomes normal in every center: tracked, organized, and understood by both the family and the center.
These are not slogans but things you can verify in the product itself:
We do not build “a business system” and call it a therapy system. Every screen in Athar exists to answer one question: how does this solve a real problem in a rehabilitation center?
We treat a beneficiary record as a human story, not a number. We do not design the site to exploit disability emotionally, and we do not use language that leaves a family feeling pitied.
We do not show customer counts or testimonials we do not have. What we commit to in the product, we state on this site; what we do not know yet, we say we are still working on.
We write and design in Arabic first, using the terms the sector already uses rather than a literal translation from English.
We export your data and hand it over whenever you ask. A system that holds a client’s files hostage with no clear exit is not a partnership.
Support that cannot tell a therapy plan from an attendance sheet will learn it at your expense. So our team knows how a center runs before it asks about the software.
What concerns us, rather than what concerns sales.
A team combining product, operations and experience in the education and therapy sector, with a constant focus on how special needs and rehabilitation centers actually run. We work with real centers and learn from them — which is reason enough to stay honest in our promises.
We make no claim of official certification. What we do commit to — encryption, permissions, audit logging and backups — is documented on the security page of this site. If we add an official certification in future, it will be listed here with its subject, number and date.
Basic setup covers your center name, disciplines, branches and operating hours. We ship ready modules for each discipline (speech, occupational, behavioral, early intervention), and session templates can be tailored to your way of working. Larger customizations are part of your center’s setup rather than a separate deal.
Session notes remain the property of your center and are not shared outside the system without your management’s authorization. That is part of the privacy commitment on the security page, built on data encryption, access permissions and the audit trail.
